A Vibrant Friday Evening at Rosendals Trädgård
The weekend’s festivities kicked off on Friday evening at the enchanting Rosendals Trädgård, a serene garden oasis located in Stockholm. The setting, with its lush greenery and natural beauty, perfectly captured the essence of a Swedish summer.
Nicole and Mark were a vision to behold, dressed in colorful, floral-inspired outfits that harmonized seamlessly with the Midsummer theme. Nicole and Mark’s breathtaking flower crowns, crafted by Floristkompaniet, were a showstopper, embodying the spirit of the celebration and setting a joyful tone for the evening.
A Midsummer Delight
Guests were welcomed with garden drinks served at the Herbarium bar, surrounded by the fragrant herbs and blossoms of Rosendal. One of the evening’s highlights was the flower crown station, set up inside a charming greenhouse. Friends and family gathered to craft their own floral crowns and as the sun dipped lower in the sky, guests moved to the newly constructed greenhouse deeper in the garden. Here, they were treated to a classic Rosendal organic buffet — a feast that celebrated Sweden’s culinary heritage with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The air was filled with the aroma of delicious dishes, complemented by heartfelt speeches, music, and the rhythmic laughter of loved ones.
The Splendor of Saturday
After an enchanting Friday evening, the celebrations continued on Saturday with the perfect balance of elegance, joy, and love.
A Morning of Glamour and Friendship
The Bride spent the morning surrounded by her eight closest friends in the charming Scholanderska Salon at the Grand Hotel Stockholm. The room buzzed with excitement as they prepared for the big day.
As a wedding planner, one of my favorite moments is delivering the bride’s bouquet. This time was particularly special because Nicole’s bouquet wasn’t just breathtaking—it was deeply personal. Each of her bridesmaids carried a bouquet featuring a single type of flower found in Nicole’s arrangement, symbolizing their individual connection to her.
A Grand Ceremony at St. Jacob’s Church
The ceremony took place in St. Jacob Church in Kungsträdgården, a historic and picturesque venue just a short walk from the hotel. With 140 guests in attendance, Nicole and Mark exchanged their vows in front of family and friends as the groom’s mother and Isaac and the Soulcompany filled the church with vibrant, soulful music.
Champagne and a Royal View
Following the ceremony, the guests were treated to a glamorous cocktail hour in Strömsalongerna, at the Grand Hotel Stockholm – a sophisticated space with balconies and panoramic views of the Swedish Royal Palace. A highlight of the evening was the magnificent Ruinard Champagne tower, where bubbling glasses of champagne cascaded in celebration of the newlyweds.
The Grand Entrance to the Mirror Room
As the evening progressed, the sliding doors opened to reveal the stunning Mirror Room, a masterpiece of golden decor and opulent charm. This room was more than just a venue—it was a work of art, and thanks to our collaboration with Floristkompaniet, it was transformed into an otherworldly haven of beauty.
The table scaping was nothing short of breathtaking, with flowers in a harmonious mix of cold and warm tones paired with vibrant fruits and hundreds of flickering candles. The room glowed with an ambiance that was both romantic and regal but also with a slight touch of modern decadence, perfectly suited for the occasion.
An Unforgettable Night
The dinner kicked off with a spectacular entrance by Isaac and the Soulcompany, whose electrifying performance set the tone for a night of celebration. Their music was irresistible, filling the dance floor with energy as guests swayed, laughed, and celebrated under the shimmering golden accents of the Mirror Room. The DJ and sax player from Le Hype added the last touches.
