Tara and Filip’s extraordinary four-day wedding celebration was truly one for the books. Around a year before their big day, the couple reached out to us with their vision already well underway, including the perfect venue for their weekend celebration secured. With guests traveling from around the globe, their goal was clear: to create an unforgettable Swedish wedding experience while weaving in beautiful Polish and Persian traditions.
The setting? The idyllic Krusenberg Herrgård, nestled by the water with its lush gardens providing a breathtaking backdrop.
Thursday: An Intimate Kickoff
The festivities began on Thursday, with close family members checking into their rooms at the historic mansion from 1802. That evening, everyone gathered for an intimate dinner in the main mansion, setting the tone for the weekend ahead.
Friday: Games, Sauna, and Artistic Memories
Friday kicked off around lunchtime, as guests were welcomed onto the front porch with drinks and artisanal pizza slices. A delightful mix of activities followed on the lawn, combining Swedish, Polish, and Persian games as well as Padel. Guests also got to embrace Swedish traditions by plunging into the icy water after enjoying the sauna.
As the sun began to set, a talented wedding painter created beautiful watercolor portraits of the guests down by the water. Meanwhile, a BBQ dinner awaited, with candles, delicious food, and a stunning view adding to the charm. The evening evolved into a magical night filled with laughter, music, and dancing—a perfect prelude to the main event.
Saturday: The Big Day
The wedding day began with Tara getting ready alongside her mother and closest friends in one of the mansion’s elegant salons, while Filip spent the morning with his groomsmen at the boathouse.
The vows!
When Tara walked down the aisle with her parents to the heartfelt music of pianist Gustaf and violist Victoria, it was a moment to remember. Gustaf’s renditions of Halo and Utan dina Andetag added a deeply emotional touch to the ceremony.
Our team collaborated with Johan from Floristkompaniet, Facio, and Table to create a stunning ceremony space in the apple orchard, complete with a full-bloom wedding arch and a sophisticated silhouette tent for the reception. The soft pastel color palette, rattan lamps, and thoughtful table décor struck a perfect balance between elegance and freshness.
The reception was a beautiful blend of traditions: the Persian cake ceremony with bridesmaids dancing, Polish wedding games, and Filip serenading Tara with a Polish song.
The highlight? The couple’s spectacular choreographed first dance, which left everyone in awe.
As the evening unfolded, Robert Pihl and his live band energized the crowd, turning the dance floor into a lively celebration. Guests danced with such enthusiasm that the floor seemed like it might give way!
Late-Night Treats and After-Party Magic
As the party moved indoors, Tara and Filip had a special surprise for their guests. The aroma of freshly baked Swedish cinnamon buns filled the air, served with ice-cold milk—an irresistible treat. The bar, decked out in a whimsical Harry Potter theme, kept the festivities alive with signature drinks like Whiskey Sour, Spicy Margarita and Espresso Martini, while DJ Robert ensured the energy stayed high.
Sunday: A Fond Farewell
The weekend concluded with a cheerful brunch in the mansion, where Tara, Filip, and their guests shared heartfelt goodbyes and expressed their gratitude.
From start to finish, Tara and Filip’s wedding was a joyous celebration of love, family, and tradition—a true fairytale weekend that will be cherished by everyone who attended.
